A request for the following information regarding the disposal of the former Hythe Police Station and adjoining land at Jones Lane, Hythe, SO45 6DQ.
Please provide:
1. The final sale price achieved for the former Hythe Police Station and adjoining land.
2. The date of completion of the sale to the developer.
3. The name of the purchaser/developer the site was sold to.
4. A copy of the Decision Record dated 25 April 2025 titled "Land adjacent to former Hythe Police Station – Approval of Disposal Terms" with any exempt financial information redacted, if necessary.
Response
1. Hampshire County Council’s (the County Council) land was sold for £450,000. The County Council does not hold information relating to the sale price of adjoining land owned and sold by third parties. Under Regulation 5(1) of the EIR 2004, the County Council is required to make available environmental information that it holds. In accordance with Regulation 9, the County Council advises that information relating to registered land may be available from HM Land Registry. this information is available at Search for land and property information - GOV.UK
2. The sale completed on 30th September 2025
3. The property was transferred to Churchill Living Ltd
