For the purposes of my FOI request, by “specialist settings” I mean educational settings providing specialist provision for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This includes maintained special schools, academy special schools, independent special schools and specialist post-16 settings, where applicable.
To clarify, I am not specifically requesting an “internal audit report”. I am seeking the underlying recorded information held by Hampshire County Council showing the number of children and young people attending specialist settings.
If this information is held in another format, such as a database, spreadsheet, management information system, report or other recorded format, I would be grateful if you could provide the relevant information in that form.
If Hampshire County Council does hold information concerning the number of children and young people attending specialist settings, please provide the available figures and, where possible, identify the type of specialist setting to which the figures relate.
If the Council considers that it does not hold the requested information, please confirm this under section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and explain what searches have been undertaken to establish whether the information is held.
I would also be grateful if you could clarify what information you were referring to when you stated that you “may be able to provide information on the number of children and young people (CYP) attending specialist settings”.
