Trigger and originating records for 2 January 2026 ad-hoc inspection and work order 22384604, Portsdown Hill Road

Please provide the following recorded information held by Hampshire County Council concerning the ad-hoc inspection of Portsdown Hill Road completed on 2 January 2026 and the subsequent creation of work order 22384604:

1. The recorded reason, request, notification or other trigger which caused the ad-hoc inspection to be undertaken on 2 January 2026.

2. The date and time at which that trigger/notification was received, together with the originating enquiry, incident, defect or other reference number.

3. The recorded method by which the trigger was received, where recorded (for example telephone, web, email or other source).

4. Any recorded information linking the 2 January inspection to enquiries or incidents received during 31 December 2025 to 2 January 2026, including specifically enquiry/incident 21850859 and 21849874, if such a linkage exists in the Council's records.

    Some information is considered to be exempt under s40 Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), as the information consists of third party data. 

    S40(2) of FOIA provides that personal data of another individual is exempt if its disclosure would breach any of the data protection principles in Article 5 of the General Data Protection Regulation. The County Council considers that the information withheld consists of personal data of third parties and that disclosure would constitute unfair and unlawful processing. This is an absolute exemption and does not require a public interest test.
